Supreme Court Officers Association

Our membership consists of uniformed officers in the courts throughout the five boroughs of New York City as well as Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, Orange and Dutchess Counties. We are affiliated with the A.F.L.-C.I.O. and the International Longshoreman’s Association. Our association is dedicated to improving benefits and protecting the rights of all our members.

Tower of Heroes: Stories from the Stair Climb of One World Trade Center aired on Fox 5 news. A segment was dedicated to the NYS Courts and our 3 SCOA members, Captain William Thompson, Sgt Thomas Jurgens and Sgt Mitchel Wallace who heroically made the ultimate sacrifice. Watch the attached video as Chief Baccellieri did an outstanding job along with Captain Gutowski and Captain Campbell in explaining the events that occurred on the morning of 9/11 and also how many Court Officers risked their lives so others may live.
